Good news, Texas Chainsaw Massacre fans! The prequel we’ve all been waiting for finally has a release date plus awesome new bloody pictures! Check out Leatherface!

The story centers around a teenage Leatherface who escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates, kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from Hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, molding him into the monster we now call Leatherface!
Leatherface will be in select theaters and VOD on October 20th. The film will also be released in this year’s Fright Fest in London! It will be released even earlier than that for those who have DirecTV on September 21st.
The film is directed by Alexandre Bustillo. Bustillo has previously directed Inside (2007) and Among The Living (2014). It stars Stephen Dorff (Blade), Lili Taylor (The Conjuring), Nicole Andrews (Homefront), Sam Strike (EatEnders), Julian Kostov (Code Red), and Sam Coleman (Game Of Thrones).
