The Crunchyroll Expo is coming to San Jose this Summer! The anime convention celebrates the best and brightest in Japanese animation, gaming, cosplay, and more. The organizers send word ahead of the event of a new line of streetwear from renowned artist Junji Ito. Junji Ito has been a Manga artist for more than 30 years. In that time he has penned various masterpieces, such as “Michi no Nai Machi” (The Town Without Streets), “Kubitsuri Kikyu” (The Hanging Balloons), “Soichi” series, “Shibito no Koiwazurai” (Lovesick Dead), “Uzumaki,” and “Gyo.” Can’t make the Expo this year? Fear not! The organizers won’t let you miss out on this haul of awesome artistry.

Today, Crunchyroll, the world’s most popular anime brand, is announcing an exclusive Junji Ito streetwear collection for Crunchyroll Expo, based on never-before-seen artwork from the iconic horror manga artist. The CRX x Junji Ito Collection features three new designs, created by the artist exclusively for Crunchyroll Expo and will be available until supplies sell out. All items will not be restocked and will only be available onsite.
For fans unable to attend Crunchyroll Expo, exclusive Junji Ito merchandise from the Crunchyroll Store is available for purchase now, including a specially-designed skateboard, short-sleeved and long-sleeved shirts, hoodies and more.
This year’s Crunchyroll Expo will be more interactive than ever, with fans invited to explore New Crunchy City, and a slate of experiential activations to transport fans into the incredible world of anime.
This year’s Expo takes place at the San Jose Convention Center over Labor Day weekend (August 30 – September 1). Single day or weekend tickets can be purchased here.
