‘In The Blink Of An Eye’: Horror Anthology Novel Based On The Film, ‘Butterfly Kisses’

Coming in August is an exciting new anthology of horror short stories called In The Blink of An Eye, which was based on the film, Butterfly Kisses, from the very talented director Erik Kristopher Myers. The book explores the urban legend that was introduced in Butterfly Kisses known as The Blink Man or Peeping Tom. The stories are written by Myers, Cthulhu Lies Dreaming’s William Couper, Crimson Orchid frontman Jacob Le Doux, A Wicked Little Town’s K. Patrick Glover, Butterfly Kisses actor Seth Adam Kallick, folklore expert Matt Lake, The Altered Wake’s Megan Morgan, artist and author Josef Richardson, Season of the Dead’s Paul R. Seiber, Disney Studios writer Patrick Storck, Best Horror Of The Year contributor Steve Toase, Haunted Ellicott City’s Shelley Davies Wygant, and horror illustrator Ilan Sheady.

In The Blink of An Eye includes the following stories:

Caught in an eternal midnight, a reckless teen questions the choices that brought him face to face with his own destruction.

A man traumatized by war turns to a hypnotist for relief, but the hypnotist learns the true cause of the man’s trauma and makes a horrifying decision.

A holy man with one eye scarred and always open journeys to the Illchester Tunnel and sees an awful figure off in the distance.

A student decides that her favorite teacher’s untimely death wasn’t suicide, but rather the result of a meeting with the Blink Man.
