In a world populated by entertainment, every once in awhile, we come across an impressive entity in the form of a film. The upcoming release of the dark thriller, The Russian Bride (2019 – read our review of the film here), is bound to leave us all wanting more. Writer/Director Michael S. Ojeda (Avenged 2013) cast Corbin Bernsen (Psych TV series, The Dentist 1996), Oksana Orlan (Sangre Negra TV series), and Kristina Pimenova (Creators: The Past 2019) for the film. Child supermodel Pimenova, who was named “The Most Beautiful Girl In The World” by Women Daily magazine in 2014, makes her feature motion picture debut in The Russian Bride. We now get word that the film will be released on DVD and VOD/digital platforms in the U.S. on March 19th by Vertical Entertainment.
The story centers around a young Russian woman (Orlan) and her daughter (Pimenova) who move to America to marry a billionaire, a man just a little bit odd and reclusive. Unfortunately, that isn’t his only secret, and the trio soon fall into a spiral of dark behavior and end up fighting for their lives. This movie is sure to give anyone second thoughts about marriage.
