Ice-T to Star in Horror Film ‘Clinton Road’

According to Variety, Ice-T has just signed on to star in the independent horror film Clinton Road. Ice-T previously was part of the cast on Law and Order: Special Victim’s Unit and, as most of you know, has also had a career as a rapper as well as his metal band, Body Count. This past March, he also starred in the vampire flick Bloodrunners. Here is the synopsis of Clinton Road:

The story is based on the real-life Clinton Road — a notorious, 10-mile stretch of narrow road deep within the New Jersey pine barren woods, which has served as the source of urban legends about paranormal activities such as ghosts and gatherings of witches. It is also an infamous disposal area for corpses in mob hits. In the movie, the road is investigated by a gang of bold teenagers who discover themselves stranded, scrambling against a sadistic satanic cult.

Some of the other cast will feature Vincent Pastore (The Sopranos), Ace Young, Vincent Young and the beautiful Erin O’Brien (Jailbait). The film will be directed by Steve Stanulis.

Ice-T’s will play a club owner trying to discourage other travelers from visiting Clinton Road due to his own past experiences there. We’ll keep an eye out for new updates regarding the project. Will you be checking out Clinton Road?
