‘Horror Hall of Fame’ Brought Back By Geeks of The Industry

For the past five years, the guys over at Geeks of the Industry have been creating and uploading podcasts relating to fabulously geeky stuff from all across the spectrum – from wrestling to the Grateful Dead to cult classics to comic books to celebrity interviews to the subject of podcast themselves. But one thing that these self-proclaimed weird guys have a strong passion for is horror. Chunky Larry, host of the Creature Feature podcast, remembers a time nearly 30 years ago when the awards show Horror Hall of Fame would be a yearly event that featured the biggest names in horror. Hosted by Robert Englund, this Oscars-style awards show only ran for three years, from 1990-1992, much to Chunky Larry’s chagrin. Now, twenty-five years later, this horror aficionado has recreated Horror Hall of Fame for the 21st century in his podcast.
This is what Chunky Larry had to say on the subject:
The 2017 Horror Hall Of Fame is a tribute not only to the films I and many have admired for generations but a tribute to a television special I adored as a child. It is the rare occasion where the past, present and future of horror come together to celebrate the genre we all love.
This year, the  2017 Horror Hall of Fame was hosted by Chunky Larry and PopHorror lovely Malvolia, The Queen Of Screams! The awards show featured Friday the 13th’s Ari Lehman and his band First Jason as the house band!

The presenters are some of the best and brightest of the current indie horror scene including:

Todd and Ashley Mary Nunes (All Through The House, Death Ward 13)
Vincente DiSanti (Never Hike Alone)
P.J. Starks (Volumes Of Blood)
Dakota Thomas (Voyeur)
Diandra Lazor and Paige Joy (Fredheads)
