Horror Coming To and Leaving Netflix For June 2019

It’s about that time when we say goodbye to some of the horror movies and TV shows on Netflix, but also get to celebrate the ones coming out in the following month. Below is a list of everything coming and leaving Netflix in June 2019. 

Arriving June 1st

Carrie (1976)

Directed by Brian De Palma

Synopsis:

Carrie White, a shy, friendless teenage girl who is sheltered by her domineering, religious mother, unleashes her telekinetic powers after being humiliated by her classmates at her senior prom.

Arriving June 5th

Black Mirror: Season 5 (2019)

Synopsis:

An anthology series exploring a twisted, high-tech world where humanity’s greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide.

Arriving June 7th

I Am Mother (2019)

Directed by Grant Sputore

Synopsis:

A teenage girl is raised underground by a kindly robot “Mother” — designed to repopulate the earth following the extinction of humankind. But their unique bond is threatened when an inexplicable stranger arrives with alarming news.

 

Arriving June 14th

The Alcasser Murders (2019)

Synopsis:

The Alcàsser Murders will be a four-episode true crime documentary, which analyzes and investigates one of the most gruesome and controversial crimes in Spanish history. The triple murder in 1992 shook the foundations of Spanish society and crossed borders, not only in its brutality but also because of its shocking broadcast and exploitation by the media.

Arriving June 21st

Dark: Season 2 (2019)

Synopsis:

A family saga with a supernatural twist, set in a German town, where the disappearance of two young children exposes the relationships among four families.

The Confession Tapes: Season 2 (2019)

Synopsis:

A critical look into some true crime cases where American law enforcement made up for lack of actual physical evidence by using devious psychological tactics during interrogation in order to extract confessions from naive suspects.

Arriving June 29th

Scare Tactics: Season 4 & 5 (2010-13)

Synopsis:

The show, just the latest in a string of “reality based programming” will feature “Candid Camera” like stunts inspired by scenes from Science fiction television programs and movies. The “victims” will witness alien abductions, hauntings, and various other X-Philean type gags and their reactions will be chronicled here on this series.
