Havenhurst (2017) Gets a Release Date

Havenhurst is mind-blowing, thought-provoking horror – a film that makes the viewer connect the dots to unlock its secrets. It is suspenseful and terrifying. When I first watched the film, the characters drew me in. Even Havenhurst acts as a character in its own right. But when can we expect to see the film released in theaters?

Havenhurst is from the producers of Saw (2004) and Amityville: The Awakening (2017) and it stars two major horror icons: Julie Benz (Dexter TV series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer TV series, Angel TV series) and Danielle Harris (Halloween 4&5, Rob Zombie’s Halloween (2007), See No Evil 2 (2014)). The film was directed by Andrew C. Erin (Sam’s Lake (2006), Simple Things (2012)), who also co-wrote the screenplay with Daniel Farrands (Amityville: The Awakening (2017), A Haunting in Connecticut (2009)).

When Jackie (Benz) is released from rehab, she is given a chance to prove she has cleaned up her act. She is provided a home at Havenhurst. As she lives in the apartment building, she is drawn into the mystery surrounding her in her new home. It does not help that she is living in the same apartment where her friend (Harris) went missing. With help from the New York City detective and a foster child also living in the building, Jackie will not only face the horrors of Havenhurst but also her own personal demons.

The world will finally be able to cross the threshold of Havenhurst on February 10th. The film will premiere in Los Angelos at Laemmie Music Hall, followed by a limited theatrical run in San Francisco, Denver, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Houston, Kansas City and Phoenix. Check for this twisted thriller after the 10th on streaming platforms such as iTunes, Amazon Instant Video, Google Play, Vudu, and more. Do not miss this film, it will twist and turn your mind, forcing you to unravel the mystery of Havenhurst.
