We recently did a massive 3-month unboxing from them, which I highly recommend checking out. Then watch the new double box unboxing video below for May/June 2019, and then keep reading for more info.

Thank you once again to HorrorPack for sending us these awesome films. This is one of our favorite subscription boxes to open, and we always look forward to it. We are doing a double month this time, so let’s run through them!

The Signal (2007)- This film stars Anessa Ramsey, AJ Bowen and Sahr Ngaujah. Filmed from three different perspectives, it follows the story of a signal in various audio transmissions that turn people who hear it homicidal, and it could turn up anywhere.

Wyvern (2009)- I love monster movies like this one! Wyvern stars Nick Chinlund, Erin Karpluk, and Barry Corbin. This movie touches upon the dangers of global warming and the issues it can cause. Oh, I don’t mean rising sea water. I’m talking about a thawed out mythical creature called a wyvern that begins to attack an Alaskan town. Global warming, ya’ll.

Buried Alive (2007)- Buried Alive was originally a mini-series on the gone but not forgotten horror channel, FEARnet. This looks to be found footage film (yaaaas) and stars Augusto Aguilar, Jeff Blum, Greyson Chadwick, Bram Hoover, Brit Morgan and J.R. May. Five friends go missing and find themselves in an underground torture chamber. Their friend, Melanie, needs to track down the kidnapper before it’s too late.

Spunk’s Not Dead (2018)- This film is an anthology about a new drug called Spunk. There are six stories that follow people like athletes, junkies, babysitters and more as they do Spunk. It goes to show the various ways that this new drug is destroying their lives.

The Resident (2011)- Talk about films that will make you want to do a background check on your landlord. This movie stars Hilary Swank, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lee Pace and Christopher Lee. A doctor moves into a new apartment in Brooklyn and everything seems great at first. Her landlord is a hottie with a body, but she isn’t ready for a relationship. Unfortunately for her, that’s not what her landlord wants.

The Gallows (2015)- Twenty years ago, a terrible accident killed a student during the school play. On the anniversary, the students of the present want to perform the show again… maybe they should have just done Grease instead. This film stars Reese Mishler, Pfeifer Brown, Ryan Shoos, and Cassidy Gifford.

Vivid (2011)- There’s a drug on the market that lets you go in and out of other peoples’ consciousness, but when you’re a serial killer, sometimes that’s just not enough. He slips into their consciousnesses only to live their lives and then force them to kill themselves.

Werewolf: The Beast Among Us (2012)- This monster flick stars Ed Quinn, Guy Wilson, Stephen Rea and Rachel DiPillo. It takes place in the 19th century as a werewolf stalks a village and begins murdering people. Some bounty hunters work to catch and kill it.

Voodoo Possession (2014)-  This film centers around a Haitian insane asylum as a man looks for his brother. However, he comes across a demon that feeds on blood, pain and tormenting the living and finds out that it can possess people, including the hospital staff. It stars Danny Trejo, Ryan Caltagirone, Kerry Knuppe, and David Thomas Jenkins.

Sand Serpents (2009)- Here, we have another monster film! American soldiers are caught in a war in the Afghani desert and fighting the Taliban. They aren’t the only thing that is fighting against them as giant sand worms are picking them off, too. But they are indiscriminate and attack the soldiers as well. This one stars Jason Gedrick, Tamara Hope, Elias Toufexis and Sebastian Knapp.

The Cropsey Incident (2017)- A group of people head into the woods of New Jersey to try and uncover the person responsible for a rash of ritualistic murders in the area, but what they find is an urban legend that isn’t just a story. It stars Terry Bell, Nathanael Card, Rinska Carrasco and Brandon Galtz.

Here Alone (2016)- An illness has killed off nearly everyone, turning people aggressive. A woman works to survive alone after the virus took her husband and baby. She comes across two more people, and they head north. Can she survive it all?

Lifechanger (2018 – read our review here)- This story follows a man that must kill to shapeshift otherwise he will die an excruciating death. When the changes become more frequent, can he keep up with the murder? It stars Lora Burke, Jack Foley and Rachel VanDuzer.

Antibirth (2016)- A life of drugs and partying catches up to two women when one of them wakes up with an unusual and possibly supernatural pregnancy. This movie stars Natasha Lyonne, Chloe Sevigny and Meg Tilly.

Baskin (2015 – read our review here)- It’s hard to be a cop and it’s even harder to be a cop that raids an abandoned building only to find a black mass and stumble your way into hell. Baskin stars Mehmet Cerrahoglu, Gorkem Kasal, Ergun Kuyucu and Muharrem Bayrak.

Walled In (2009)- When a woman plans to have a building knocked down and destroyed, it turns out the building houses secrets, like a serial killer who puts his victims alive into the walls of the building. Will he just let his building be destroyed? It stars Mischa Barton, Darla Biccum, Tim Allen, and Cameron Bright.

About Dev Crowley

D.D. Crowley has been writing since she could scrawl misspelled words on paper to make a story. Thankfully her writing has improved. An avid horror, paranormal, sci-fi and video game lover, she gets to write about all her favorite nerdy fandoms. Some of her favorites are found footage movies, the original 'Halloween' and 'Resident Evil' (the games not the movies, don't ever ask her about the movies... you have been warned).
