‘Gremlin’ (2017) Gets a New Poster And Trailer

To get ready for its release on VOD this July, both a poster and trailer been let loose online for Ryan Bellgardt’s creature feature Gremlin. Described as “Godzilla meets The Ring,” Gremlin is nothing like the good vs evil tale of the ’80s. This film is dark, depressing and terrifying. Don’t expect to see anyone driving a Barbie car or watching Snow White in this one.

The official synopsis:

Adam receives a mysterious box from a relative containing a creature that will kill everyone he cares about. The only way to be rid of the curse is to give the box to someone he loves. As the ominous timer on the box counts down to its end, he can only imagine the horrors that await. Does he give the box away to save his family, or unleash a monster upon humanity? He can’t destroy it. He can’t escape it. He can only give it to someone he loves…

If that’s not a terrifying concept, then I don’t know what is. Gremlin was directed by Ryan Bellgardt (Army of Frankensteins 2013) and stars Adam Hampton (The Cellar 2006), Kristy K. Boone (Suedehead 2015), Katie Burgess (Two Secrets 2015), Geoff Baron (Showdown at Devil’s Butte 2005) and Chris Crane (Gosnell: America’s Biggest Serial Killer 2003). Check out the trailer below.

Gremlin is set to release on July 11th. Stay tuned to PopHorror for a review of this terrifying creature feature!
