Funko Who?: POPSthatROCK Ghost 2020 Unboxing

Hey, Ghouls and Ghoulettes! This unboxing was a super long time coming. I have had these gorgeous beauties in my possession for a wicked long time but technical difficulty on top of technical difficulty kept pushing this unboxing back. BUT I am super stoked to finally share it. These are custom Pops by a company called POPSthatROCK and this collection features one of the best bands on the block.

The biggest of thank yous goes to POPSthatROCK for not only sending these amazing pieces but also for being so incredibly sweet and patient. I cannot wait to show you…

So, we all know that the band Ghost is incredible and that Cardinal Copia recently got an upgrade to be an official Papa Emeritus. But at POPSthatROCK, we get to remember where he began in his sassy Cardinal robes.

This is just the beginning of the amazing detail that gets put into these custom Pops. You can even see the silver Grucifix on Cardi C’s cloves and robes. I think all of the extras, like the clothing, are molded and then hand painted which is even more impressive.

The next POPSthatROCK figure is that of my most favorite of Ghost’s leaders, Papa Emeritus III. This snarky Papa oozed with sex appeal and humor and paved the way for Cardinal Copia. Here, we have him in his dress blacks, complete with his gold Grucifixes and spats.

Look at how detailed that back is! The giant gold Grucifix just pulls everything together.

The very first unmasked interview that Tobias Forge ever did was on a television show in France and he wore an Edgar Allan Poe shirt. This POPsthatROCK figure commemorates that interview with this little Tobias Pop. The level of detail in his t-shirt blows my mind. You can also see his little pins and his big green eyes. She also makes a figure of Tobias in his fancy clothes from the Grammys.

Here we have my most favorite figure of them all: the Nameless Ghoul. I am partial to the masks of the Ghouls in the Meliora era, but the Ghouls circa Prequelle have the best chemistry on stage between them all. Here, we have my favorite Ghoul, the one stage right with his wee guitar.

Look at that detail! I can’t even stand it! From the detail of the hair on the mask to the little ribbon that is the guitar strap, it seems like I find a new detail every time I look at it. This Ghoul is probably the single coolest figure I have ever seen. It’s surprisingly heavy but has no trouble standing.

I am SO blown away by how amazing these custom POPSthatROCK figures are. There is no question about who these figures represent, and they make a great addition to any Ghost collection. I HIGHLY recommend checking out the POPSthatROCK site because she has some amazing Cardi C variations as well as the ability to customize Pops into whatever you want. Check out her Etsy store HERE. Even though these figures were sent to me, I was not paid to do this review and my love of these figures is entirely my own. I cannot recommend them enough. Check them out!
