‘Friday the 13th’ Fans Rejoice: Adrienne King Finally Joins ’13 Fanboy’

The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Adrienne King has joined the cast of 13 Fanboy! As most of you know by now, Adrienne was very hesitant at first about joining this film because of her own personal history with a stalker. However with love and support from the community she has bravely decided to join forces with the rest of her Friday the 13th alumni for one badass slasher film.

Deborah Voorhees stated:

Adrienne and I had a long chat after she revealed to fans why she wasn’t going to be able to the film. The outpouring of support was tremendous and so many wanted us to find a role for her. Adrienne called me and we chatted about a possible cameo but then I came up with an idea for a stellar role that fits her perfectly and is more than a cameo. She agreed and I couldn’t be more thrilled.

Adrienne joins several other Friday the 13th veterans as well as some other familiar faces including Deborah Voorhees, Kane Hodder, Dee Wallace, Corey Feldman, CJ Graham, Thom Mathews, Tracie Savage, Ron Sloan, Judie Aronson, Vincente DiSanti and Andrew Leighty.

Deborah Voorhees and Joel Paul Reisig co-wrote the script for 13 Fanboy. This fun new slasher is not a Paramount film. It is a totally separate series, with no association to the original Friday the 13th movies, a movie made by fans for fans.
