Freeform is known for its family-friendly shows and holiday movie programming. Today they made an awesome announcement regarding Halloween and we’re super stoked about it.
Freeform announced that they will be changing the format for Halloween Nights. Instead of the “13 Nights of Halloween”, it is now “31 Nights of Halloween”!
That’s right! A WHOLE month of Halloween films! 31 family-friendly nights of scary movies! It will be interesting to see what movies they will have in the line-up this year. Last year’s line-up included both Addams Family and Addams Family Values, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Frankenweenie, Paranorman, R.L. Stine’s Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls, Spooky Buddies to name a few. Of course, the main focus of Freeform’s “13 Nights of Halloween” is always a Hocus Pocus marathon. This year they have also announced they will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of Hocus Pocus in October as well!
We have to wait until September before they announce the line-up. This is super exciting though! We can’t wait until October! How about you? What films are you looking forward to seeing? I’d like them to add Igor and Coraline. What would you like them to do for the 25th anniversary of Hocus Pocus? Stay tuned to PopHorror for further news!
