Check Out the New Flatliners (2017) Trailer!

What is the one thing that gets a horror fan’s blood pumping more then the opening day of a film’s release? More often then not, it’s going to be the trailer. I know some don’t like to watch movie trailers as they feel it gives too much of the plot away, but for most of us, we share them around like crazy! For example, just think about when the trailer dropped for the movie IT. The time has come again, horror fiends, for the newest horror movie trailer and that trailer is Flatliners! Is it a reboot, a remake, or perhaps a direct sequel of the 1990 film of the same name? One thing we do know for sure is that Kiefer Sutherland is reprising his role as Nelson in some form.

Official synopsis of Flatliners 2017:

Medical students experiment on “near death” experiences that involve past tragedies until the dark consequences begin to jeopardize their lives.

Flatliners has some of the hottest stars in its line-up: Ellen Page (Hard Candy, Juno), Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries TV series), Kiersey Clemons (Justice League), James Norton (Happy Valley), Tyler Hynes (UnReal), Charlotte McKinney (Baywatch 2017). The film was directed by Niels Arden Oplev (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo). It’s been years since I’ve seen the original. However, this trailer has gotten me excited so I’ll probably give the 1990 film a watch tonight! Check out the trailer here!

After 27 years since the original, what do you guys think about the cast and the overall appeal of the film? Will you be seeing it in theaters this year on September 29th? Or do you think they should have just left it alone? Let us know what you think of the official Flatliners trailer in the comments. Stay tuned to PopHorror for more updates on Flatliners!
