The upcoming UK supernatural horror film, The Young Cannibals, proves that it still isn’t safe to camp in the woods. There’s a monster out there hidden in the trees and it’s coming for you. Is there anything scarier than that? Well, besides Jason, of course. The Young Cannibals looks promising, with fast-paced, horror action and a frightening creature chasing a group of friends in a desolate campsite. Sounds right up our alley! Let’s check out further details, take a peek at some cool film stills and watch the trailer!
From The Press Release:
Devilworks drops the poster and the trailer for the UK Supernatural Horror The Young Cannibals from Writer/Director duo Kris Carr and Sam Fowler.
Starring Megan Purvis [Don’t Knock Twice 2017 – read our review here] and Hannah Louise Howell [Thor: The Dark World 2013], this fast-paced horror follows a group of friends as they arrive at a secluded campsite, where they plan on spending a relaxing weekend by the lake. What they didn’t plan on was being tricked into eating burgers made of human flesh. This act summons an unrelenting supernatural creature which hunts them down one by one.
The film was produced by Charlie Pride for Bad Taste Pictures. Devilworks is representing the worldwide rights and will start to sell at the upcoming Cannes.
This film looks like a lot of fun with some serious gore! I am a sucker for horror films set in desolate woods… which is probably the reason why I’ve never camped. That monster definitely is creepy! I may become a vegetarian and never eat a burger again after this one. Hopefully, The Young Cannibals will get bought at Cannes so we can check it out. What do you think? Yay or nay?
