Feel The Love With Our February 2019 Magickal Earth Bath Unboxing

With the arrival of the second season of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, people are feeling extra witchy these days. If you’re like me, you feel witchy every day, and you love the idea of magickal boxes to bring something extra to your life. We’ve done reviews for other magickal subscription boxes in the past, like Sacred Iseum and Witch Baby Soap, but we are reviewing a new one today called The Magickal Earth. With a wide variety of box levels available to try, you can bring a little magick into your life with so many options. Check out the unboxing video below, and then keep reading for info on the products and how to get a box for yourself. Also, a huge thank you to Janet for sending me this box to open for you.

Before I start going into what was in my box, I want to go over the kinds of boxes The Magickal Earth offers. There is the Bath Box which is $29.99 (that is the box I received), the Mystery Bath Box which is $34.99, a Basic Crystal Box that ranges between $14.99-$44.97, the Essentials Box that ranges from $29.99-89.87 and the Premium Box that ranges from $39.99-$149.97. Those ranges in price are between a one month and a three month subscription. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s dig into the February Love Bath Box from The Magickal Earth.

First out of the box, we have a hand poured Pink Sugar candle. The candles are small, but they are beautiful. You can get a whiff of the light, sugary scent, but the smell is so light that you can also smell the slightly Elmer’s glue-like smell of the wax. It could be a different story when it is lit, but it is so pretty with the rose quartz and the roses that I don’t have the heart to light it yet. Be aware that if the temperature of the candle changes too much, the stones with come out of place and jostle around.

Next up we have a small travel bottle of Ginger & Waldo Love hand and body lotion. The lotion is of a thinner consistency, which will be good in the summertime, but it does feel moisturizing. It is made with certified vegan ingredients and has a very light smell, which is good for those that are bothered by lotions and perfumes. Its scent is hard to describe, but I can say that it is slightly sweet and lightly floral. It disappears quickly on me, but everyone is different.

This lovely glass bottle is filled with pure rose water that has been charged and infused with small pieces of rose quartz, clear quartz and garnets. I love the tinkling sound that the small stones make when they hit the sides of the glass bottle. I adore the smell of roses, and the scent of the rose water is so light. I imagine this will be great in the summer for a light face refresher, for some light moisture or just to smell a hint like roses.

This is the item that I am most excited about in the box. I love bath items: salts, milks, bombs, bars… I love them all, especially when they are made more naturally. Not only that, but this bath tea has rose, which I am all about. The Magickal Earth bath tea has therapeutic grade rose, ylang ylang and orange oils. Unfortunately, the orange completely takes over the scent profile, but it still smells amazing. The rose may pop through when it is in the water, but that is yet to be determined. Either way, the smell is intense and still very nice.

That was all in The Magickal Earth Love Bath Box for February 2019. I love the organic and natural ingredients in these items, as well as the rose theme of this box. If you like self care boxes filled with natural and vegan ingredients, than this is a good one for you. You can click HERE to get this box for yourself. Keep your eyes peeled, because we will be doing another The Magickal Earth unboxing very soon along with a LOT more. Keep one eye on PopHorror and we’ll see you on the next unboxing!

About Dev Crowley

D.D. Crowley has been writing since she could scrawl misspelled words on paper to make a story. Thankfully her writing has improved. An avid horror, paranormal, sci-fi and video game lover, she gets to write about all her favorite nerdy fandoms. Some of her favorites are found footage movies, the original 'Halloween' and 'Resident Evil' (the games not the movies, don't ever ask her about the movies... you have been warned).
