There has been a severe lack of werewolf films in the past couple of years. The latest two I can remember off the top of my head are WolfCop and Late Phases, both from 2014. However, there seems to be a small resurgence in the subgenre that we can expect to see in the next few years, first with the trailer being announced for Another WolfCop and then this little indie werewolf film known as Fang. Check out the teaser below!
Fang is written and directed by Adam R. Steigert (producer on Ombis: Alien Invasion 2013). It stars Melantha Blackthorne (Death Race 2008) as Doris Crowley, Gregory Blair (Garden Party Massacre 2018) as Harold, Jason John Beebe (Biting Off More Than You Can Chew 2014) as Chris, and Darren Barcomb (Krampus: The Devil Returns 2016) as Deputy Thomas.
After participating in a robbery turned murder, Chloe and Joe decided to hide out at a distant relative’s house only to find themselves stalked and hunted by creatures and forces unknown.
Unfortunately, the teaser for Fang doesn’t give us much to go off of. All it shows is an up close image of a door handle, with the last few seconds revealing a hairy werewolf hand. With what we see, I can’t really tell what Fang has in store for us, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more updates from PopHorror as they come!
