FX legend, Marcus Koch (We Are Still Here, Song of Solomon) and filmmaker Jessie Seitz (Devotion) announced earlier this year that they were teaming up to bring fans a documentary highlighting extreme horror. The documentary entitled Beyond Horror: The History and Sub-Culture of Red Films, has already gained a lot of attention with fans and filmmakers that share an affinity for the deeply disturbing additions to cinema.
Over this past summer, Jessie and Marcus have painstakingly collected hours of footage and interviews, including the infamous filmmaker, Marian Dora (Cannibal, Melancholie der Engel), all to be featured in their anticipated documentary.
Earlier today, 93/93 Pictures, the production company spearheaded by Jessie and Marcus, released some exciting news!
Presales for the ‘Beyond Horror’ documentary will go live Wednesday, August 21st!
We are VERY pumped to soon be able to offer presales of the doc through Indiegogo. Here are a few things about the campaign:
- Whoever orders in the first five days will receive a limited edition screen printed poster, for free.
- Anyone who shares the campaign link on their social media will get free stickers and buttons with their order (trust us, they’re cool looking).
- This preorder sale will be for the extended version of the documentary not seen in theaters.
Thank you all for the support! We’re excited to share all these stories with you!
