After months of waiting, we’re finally getting some news on director Daniel Mark Young’s upcoming short For Her… and now we’re hearing that filming is completed! Although they had enough money to finish most of the Viral Films project, there’s some post-production work that still needs to be done to get For Her… ready for the festival circuit. To tide us over while we wait, Young has sent us an EXCLUSIVE clip from the upcoming short as well as a brand new poster. Check them out!
Isn’t it gorgeous? Despite some setbacks and time constraints, I think the poster came out perfectly.
Along with Mark Daniel Young, some of the other crew members working on For Her… are writer/producer James Craigie, composer Adam Woodhams, producer/DoP Michelle Barry, producer Martine Beaseley and actress Mari Beaseley, all of whom previously worked together on Run (2016). Camera operator Darrell Pringle was brought on to the crew for this new endeavor. The short stars Derek Nelson (Dark is the Night 2016), Natasha Killip (Don’t Let Go 2013), the stunningly beautiful Kattreya Scheurer-Smith. Two sings by pop artist Kina Grannis – “Little Worrier” and “Throw It Away” – will also be featured in the short.
