Fresh off the success of their recent slashers, Terrifier and #Screamers, Dread Central Presents announced a new, original horror feature this week called The Golem, which was developed in partnership with Epic Pictures and The Paz Brothers. It is the sophomoric effort from The Paz Brothers, following the success of their 2015 found footage horror film Jeruzalem.

The Golem Synopsis
The Golem follows a woman’s tight-knit Jewish community that is besieged by foreign invaders. Turning to Jewish mysticism, she conjures a dangerous creature to protect her and her people. However, her creation may be more evil than she ever imagined.
The film stars Hani Furstenberg (Hanna), Ishai Golan (Benjamin), Lenny Ravich (Horrovits), Brynie Furstenberg (Perla), and Alexey Tritenko (Vladimir). Ariel Cohen wrote the screenplay.
The Golem was shot in secret on location in Ukraine, near Kiev.
The Paz Brothers spoke with Deadline about their new project. Doron Paz says:
“Having a much bigger budget this time allowed us to create the scope needed to re-tell the legend of the Golem.”
His brother, Yoav Paz, adds:
“We are glad to have both producer Shalom Eisenbach and Epic believe in our vision and excited to get it in front on audience early next year.”
