PopHorror Let's Get Scared
Dungeons and Dragqueens is a new retro-horror film from director Ken Hicks. The film is about 3 nerds who must cut their Dungeons and Dragons campaign short to drive the girls next door to a punk show, only to find out that they must now face two demons and their own sexuality, all while drunk and high on psychedelic drugs.
The film currently has a Kickstarter page up to raise funds. Dungeons and Dragqueens is being described as a throwback to the fantasy-horror films of the ’80s, with names like Labyrinth, Hellraiser 2 and Big Trouble in Little China being thrown around as inspiration. Ken Hicks has said that the movie will be an original idea, with little to no CGI and Hollywood makeovers.
