Don’t Let the Bed Bugs Bite! – Gnaw (2017) Trailer

Gnaw is chewing through the film festival scene! Recently, Gnaw won ‘Best Horror Feature‘ at Shriekfest in Los Angeles. Next up? The Denver Film Festival! Haylar Garcia (An American Terror) wrote and directed Gnaw along with Jim Brennan and Kathyrn Gould. The film stars Penelope Mitchell (The Fear of Darkness), and Chris Johnson (47 Meters Down).  Veteran actress Sally Kirkland (The Sting) also stars.

Gnaw Synopsis

Jennifer Conrad is a small-town girl starting over in the big city. Fleeing an abusive relationship, all she wants is a chance to begin again. But it’s hard to start over when something is eating you while you sleep… one painful bite at a time.

When Jennifer wakes to find her grasp at a brave, new life interrupted by tiny wounds that seem to appear while she is sleeping, her waking hours begin to take a horrific turn. Soon she finds herself trapped in a chaotic spiral forged of sleep deprivation, paranoia and a paralyzing fear of the unseen, which like a pack of emotional phantoms, begin to derail her life, even forcing her to consider the unthinkable option of going back to her abusive, but somehow twistedly stable relationship. Jennifer’s only chance is to uncover the mystery of the strange bites, a mystery that seems to spring from the vacant apartment next door and the tortured woman who once lived there.

What Jennifer finds is a horrible revelation, something that defies belief. Something that can only be stopped through the summoning of her own inner will to remain a survivor. But can she confront her fears, restore her sanity and ultimately wage a final battle before the last, bloody bite is taken?

This looks creepy. It literally made my skin crawl when I saw the preview. How about you? We’re looking forward to this one! Could a Gnaw review be in the future here at PopHorror?
