There is a new reason to be afraid of the water… except this time, it’s your friend’s pool that you need to be fearful of. Drowning Echo (also known as Nereus) looks to provide some jump scares and may make you think twice before swimming in a pool this summer. Film Synopsis:
During a visit to friends, Sara (Itziar Martinez: Louie TV series) begins having visions and is attacked by an unearthly creature in her friend’s swimming pool. She soon discovers that anyone who comes into contact with the water is in danger, and she is driven to confront the mystical and malevolent creature lurking in the depths.

Itziar Martinez not only stars but co-wrote the script along with debut director/composer Georges Padey (Violetta TV series). The film also stars Raul Walder (Simón 2018), Sean Ormond (I Want To Beat Up Clark Peters 2015), Josephine Phoenix (My Life Is A Telenova TV series), Natalie Blackman (WITS Academy TV series) and Jane the Virgin’s Dennis Mencia. Drowning Echo will be available from High Octane Pictures on DVD and VOD platforms on April 4th.
