Delightfully Twisted: Twisted Wonderland Perfumery 2020 Unboxing

Hey, fellow quarantined spooks! I have been trying to focus on the fact that Halloween is inching its way closer by watching spooky movies, lighting spooky candles, wearing spooky clothes and using spooky body care. One of companies that have self care items full of Halloween love is Twisted Wonderland Perfumery. From perfume to sanitizer to lip balm and more, they have horror themed items you will love.

We want to send a huge thank¬† you to Twisted Wonderland Perfumery for sending these items to try and share for you guys. They chose the items, so it was a creepy surprise adventure as I opened the box. Let’s take a look at what they sent!

First up are items that remind me of fall time festivals, carnivals and old school movie theaters. It is a shimmery, cotton candy pink lotion that is so sweet, you’ll get a toothache. If you love the smell of cotton candy, then Cotton Candy Cocoon will wrap you in sugary sweet goodness. This scent is pretty self explanatory and not complicated, which I appreciate. When I want to smell like cotton candy, I just want to smell like the killer klowns from outer space got to work. You can get a bottle of this lotion for $11.

Next up is a lip balm. No matter how hard I looked, I couldn’t find a scent profile for this one. To me, it smells like cherries, popcorn balls and pie crust, like the air of a state fair or a snack tray of a movie theater munchies. Weirdly, when it is used, the scent almost becomes medicinal, like cherry cough drops. It isn’t unpleasant, just odd. The lip balm itself feels really nice on chapped lips, and the fragrance doesn’t burn, which is a plus. Grab a lip balm for only $4!

What does our boy Jason Voorhees wear when he wants to smell fantastic for a night of slashing and chasing down camp counselors? His Name Was Jason, of course! This perfume smells of murky water, mud, grass and an old cabin being stalked by a giant killer. This is SUCH a nice fresh scent. The grass is heavy at first, but it calms down into a clean and almost sweet smell with a masculine edge. This is an eau de parfum which is pretty strong, so a little is all you need and it lasts. Grab one for $15 and you can smell just as good as Jason on his killing spree.

Hand sanitizer is a hot commodity these days, and now you can get a horror-themed bottle of it that is within the CDC guidelines with 62% alcohol. The one sent by Twisted Wonderland Perfumery is called Ectoplasm. This smells of lime, fog, gummy candies and a lily. This sanitizer is meant to kill germs without drying out your hands. Normally, I don’t like the smell of lime, but the added floral notes really tone it down while the lime keeps it super fresh. This is an awesome smell for summer. You can get one for as little as $5.50.

Next up is a perfume oil straight from the fog of Silent Hill. It has notes of fog, fire smoke, pomegranate, dirt and honey. The smoke and honey are the dominate notes at first with the pomegranate settling in on the back end. Smoke has a tendency to turn slightly medicinal and this one is no exception. It has that slight smell of bandaids from elementary school. Smoke is such a difficult note to work with, and I love it in fragrances, but it can turn to bandage territory really fast. I am a big fan of Silent Hill and I adore smells with notes of dirt, moss and fog, but this one isn’t a favorite for me. However, there are a TON of scents to choose from at Twisted Wonderland Perfumery and they are only $14.

The last item from Twisted Wonderland Perfumery is a scent I have to try with every business I work with. I adore anything smelling like a graveyard or a cemetery, and Graveyard Smash was one I was excited to try. This body and linen spray smells of leaves, moss, a brand new plot, flowers dotting the graves and the smell of your PSL warming her hands. The first note that hits your nose is dirt, dirt and lots of dirt. I love the smell of dirt, potting soil and rotting leaves and wood. For some, this initial smell can be unpleasant, but after it sets on the skin, the floral notes come to the surface. It becomes something more delicate and pretty with just a hint of rot. This smell isn’t for everyone, but I quite enjoy it. Get one for yourself for only $8!

That’s all for the Twisted Wonderland Perfumery unboxing! I loved how spooky-centric these items were. Whether you like the sweet and sugary, the clean and crisp or the dark and dirty, Twisted Wonderland Perfumery has a plethora of macabre notes for your creepy olfactories. My favorite item from this unboxing was the Cotton Candy Cocoon lotion and the Graveyard Smash spray. If you would like to shop their wares, you can do so HERE. Even though these items were sent to me, I was not paid for this review, and all opinions are my own.
