Danielle Harris, one of our favorite scream queens, took to Twitter recently to announce that she’s pregnant! It is the first child for Harris and her husband, David Gross. People Magazine broke the exclusive story this week.

“After three years of fighting for the family I so desperately wanted to start, I’m proud to finally be able to say I’m gonna be a mom to a baby boy … thanks to the painstaking miracle of IVF.”
IVF, of course, stands for In Vitro Fertilization: a medical procedure to help couples having issues with infertility.

Horror fans were introduced to Danielle Harris in 1998 when the child actress starred as Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers. Harris returned as Jamie two years later in the sequel, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers.

Danielle has also appeared in a variety of mainstream films and television series throughout the ’90s and 2000s. In 2007, Harris’s career came full circle when she returned to her horror roots in Rob Zombie’s Halloween. Her appearance as Annie Brackett kicked off a series of horror roles in films like Hatchet II, Stake Land, Laid To Rest 2, Hatchet III and Night of the Living Dead: Darkest Dawn.

Danielle Harris got engaged to David Gross back in 2013 and the couple married in 2014. We’re sending a big shout out to the happy couple from all of us at Pop Horror! Congratulations, you two!
Baby boy Harris is coming in 2017 to a haunted house near you!
