George Romero

Check Out The New Poster For Romero’s ‘Road Of The Dead’

It’s been 49 years since zombie godfather, George A. Romero gave horror fans the first installment in his ‘Dead‘ franchise! Five films later, and Romero isn’t backing down! Joblo.com has recently shared the poster for the newest film in the franchise, Road Of The Dead

(Synopsis provided by IMDb.com):

The film is set on an island where Zombie prisoners race cars in an arena for the sole purpose of entertaining the rich.

Road Of The Dead was announced back in May and it’s been stated that Romero was looking for funding for the film. It seems that the film is still little ways away on account of Romero still looking for funding for the film.

Romero will be writing the film with Matt Birman, but Birman will be the one in the director’s chair. This won’t be the first time these two will work together. Birman actually was a second unit director and had small parts in Land Of The Dead (2005), Diary Of The Dead (2007), and Survival Of The Dead (2009). Now, the first sales art has had been released!

While we eagerly wait for Road Of The Dead, let us know your thoughts on the updates and what you hope to see from the new film!

About Karli Lawson

I basically grew up watching horror films and spooky things. I watched my first horror film when I was 4 years old. I've wanted to be a writer ever since I've read Stephen King books in middle school. I love writing and talking about my favorite genre. I hope to one day be successful in screenwriting and filmmaking. Everything horror, of course!
