Check Out the New Pinhead & The Auditor

The folks over at Bloody Disgusting scored the first high-quality image from the upcoming 10th installment in the Hellraiser franchise: Judgment! Written and directed by Gary Tunnicliffe, the next chapter is rumored to have a courtroom theme. Now behold the unholy glory:

This time, Pinhead will be played by Paul T. Taylor, who had a small part as the Assistant DA in Sin City (2005). The character standing beside him is called The Auditor (played by Randy Wayne), which fits the purported courtroom motif, as the person (thing?) who tallies your sins. In addition to The Auditor, Tunnicliffe recently released pictures of new characters The Surgeon and The Butcher.

My biggest complaint about the new characters was that they don’t look like Cenobites, but there could be a very good reason for that. According to Brad Miska aka Mr. Disgusting: “The Auditor, shown [above] with Pinhead, is NOT a Cenobite. In fact, neither are The Butcher, Cleaners, Surgeon, or Jury.”

The Surgeon: Not a Cenobite
The Surgeon: Not a Cenobite
The Butcher: Not a Cenobite
The Butcher: Not a Cenobite
The Jury: Not Cenobites
The Jury: Not Cenobites

Hmmmm. As for bona fide Cenobites, Miska says we’ll be seeing some familiar faces: “So, who are the actual Cenobites in Judgment? Pinhead and Chatterer, obviously, as well as the Stitch Twins (who we haven’t seen yet).”

In Hellraiser: Judgment: “Detectives Sean and David Carter are on the case to find a gruesome serial killer terrorizing the city. Joining forces with Detective Christine Egerton, they dig deeper into a spiraling maze of horror that may not be of this world. Could the Judgment awaiting the killer’s victims also be waiting for Sean?“

In addition to Taylor and Wayne, Hellraiser: Judgment stars Damon Carney, John Gulagher, Diane Goldner, Mike Jay Regan, Andi Powers, Jeff Fenter, and Heather Langenkamp.
