Breaking: The Red-Band Trailer Don’t Breathe Is Here!

This kid cannot stress enough how badly he f#*@ed up in the red-band trailer for Don’t Breathe.

Don’t Breathe stars Stephen Lang (Avatar, 2009) as a wealthy blind man who is the target of a burglary by a young group of friends. What they think will be an easy heist turns out to be the biggest mistake of their lives. Written and directed by Fede Alvarez (Evil Dead, 2013), Don’t Breathe also stars Jane Levy, Alvarez’s leading lady from Evil Dead, Dylan Minnette (Let Me In, 2010), and Daniel Zovatto (It Follows, 2014).

The first trailer definitely peaked my interest. The idea of Stephen Lang – whom I love in Avatar – as a brutally twisted blind man is genius. This R-rated trailer, however, is absolutely mesmerizing. You get a much better idea of the tone Alvarez is going for with Don’t Breathe. The fast twitching of Lang’s body as he uses his other senses is hair-raising. I certainly want to see this flick as soon as humanly possible after viewing this new red-band trailer.

Don’t Breathe hits theatres August 26^th.
