Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained are a couple of Quentin Tarantino’s greatest masterpieces. Within these two films, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio gave some of their best performances. Now, these two superstars are working together in Tarantino’s latest project, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood!
We can’t wait for this!
According to the Chicago Tribune, Brad Pitt is the latest actor to join Tarantino’s film. Tarantino describes the project as:
“A story that takes place in Los Angeles on 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. DiCaprio will play Rick Dalton, a former star of a western tv series, while Pitt will play his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth. Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore, But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor… Sharon Tate.”
“I’ve been working on this script for five years, as well as living in Los Angeles County most of my life, including in 1969, when I was 7 years old. I’m very excited to tell this story of an L.A., and a Hollywood that doesn’t exist anymore. And I couldn’t be happier about the dynamic teaming of DiCaprio and Pitt as Rick and Cliff.”
Once Upon A Time in Hollywood is said to be released worldwide on August 9, 2019 – on the 50th anniversary of the day that Sharon Tate was murdered. So far, it hasn’t been confirmed if the film will actually involve Charles Manson and the Manson family. Also, the good news is that the Weinstein Company will NOT be involved in making this film!
