‘Book of Monsters’ is Now Available in the UK and Ireland

Dark Rift Films and Blue Finch Film Releasing are proud to announce the release of the award winning, horror comedy Book of Monsters (read our review – here). in the UK and Ireland.  This is one of our favorite films of the year and we hope everyone enjoys it just as much as we did!

This new horror comedy the second feature film by director Stewart Sparke and writer Paul Butler, produced under their production company Dark Rift Films based in the North of England. The film stars Lyndsey Craine, Michaela Longden, Lizzie Aaryn-Stanton, Daniel S. Thrace, Anna Dawson, Rose Muirhead, Arron Dennis and Steph Mossman. Also starring is horror legend Nicholas Vince as Jonas, famous for his roles as the Chatterer in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II as well as Kinski in Nightbreed.

Synopsis for Book of Monsters

Sophie’s 18th birthday party becomes a bloodbath when six terrifying monsters descend upon her house, intent on devouring the party guests and killing anyone who tries to leave. As her school friends are torn apart and consumed, Sophie must rally a band of misfits and take up arms to send their party crashers back to hell. In order to survive the night, Sophie will face her destiny; monsters are real – and she’s the only one who can stop them.

The film has won seven awards at international film festivals since its premiere at Frightfest London in 2018, most recently including Best Film, Best Special Effects and Best Sound Design at the New York City Horror Film Festival. Book of Monsters is available to rent or buy right now on Amazon, iTunes, Sky Store and Virgin Media Store, with more digital platforms to be announced in the near future.
