PopHorror Let's Get Scared
Arrow Video U.S. and Arrow Academy U.S. have no less than FIVE genre/cult films on their October release schedule. These titles range from Italian horror to raucous comedy to sci-fi to drama. Like every month, they’ve got a little something for everyone! The slate is headlined by the Bruce Willis/Brad Pitt sci-fi gem 12 Monkeys, Sergio Martio’s Torso, and Jim Van Bebber’s blood-soaked 1988 cult classic, Deadbeat at Dawn.

Twelve Monkeys features an all new 4k restoration scan from the original negative. This release is packed with extras, including custom artwork, image gallery, trailer, documentary, and audio commentary by Terry Gilliam and producer Charles Roven.
Torso features a 2k restoration of both the Italian and English cuts of the film. This release is packed with interviews and commentary tracks. It also features a reversible sleeve with original and newly commissioned artwork by Adam Rabalais.
Schlock, the tale of the mighty prehistoric ape Schlocktropus, is the brainchild of John Landis. The film features a 4k restoration, a commentary track from Landis and FX wizard Rick Baker, and an all new writing on the film by Joe Bob Briggs.
As I said: something for everyone!
Final Thoughts
What can I say? This is just more of what we’ve come to expect from Arrow Video. Great stuff! All of these films are currently available to pre-order over at Amazon. Bonus: All will be available before Halloween!
