Another ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ Reboot in the Works

Over the past few years, we’ve heard all kind of rumors of new remakes of Friday the 13th, which has since been shelved, and we know a new Halloween film is on its way. After the 2010 Nightmare on Elm Street remake, the new movie series appeared dead in the water after a poor reception by fans.

However, Bloody Disgusting is reporting that a Nightmare series reboot is still in the works. David Leslie Johnson, who wrote Orphan and The Conjuring 2, has been hired to write the script for the new Nightmare on Elm Street installment. We aren’t sure of the timeline yet, as Johnson is also working on a script for The Conjuring 3. So it looks like a new Nightmare film isn’t their top priority at the moment. What do you think? Are you looking forward to yet another reboot/remake of Nightmare on Elm Street?
