All female production company Almost Normal Productions launched a horror film campaign on October 16, 2017. They successfully reached 33% of their crowdfunding goal in the first week after the campaign launched. ANP’s horror film, Severed Silence, follows a Romani woman who betrays her best friend (Izabela Vidovic) in the very worst way. When a deadly curse is placed on her family as revenge, she must fight to keep her family (Maiara Walsh, Adam Huss) from being exterminated.
The film’s campaign is raising funds on Indiegogo until December 10, 2017. Principal photography begins in June, 2018! Don’t take our word for it. Here are the filmmakers to tell you all about it. Check it out!
Severed Silence Logline and Synopsis
An unthinkable betrayal releases a forbidden gypsy curse on a family that must find a way to save themselves from complete annihilation.
Talitha spent two decades suppressing a maleficent curse that was placed upon her bloodline. That is until a spontaneous wedding reunites her estranged Romani family and one of them knowingly awakens an unthinkable evil and the curse is released. Talitha not only has to figure out who in her family is fighting against her, but also how to prevent the bloody curse from grabbing hold of them and killing them off one by one.
Almost Normal Productions is an all female, Glendale, California production company. They have developed 9 films and 1 television series since launching in 2010. In addition, they have
distributed a feature film and 4 short films. Three industry professionals operate ANP: Elizabeta
Vidovic (Owner), Kathryn Michelle, and Izabela Vidovic.
