If you live anywhere in the country that experiences seasonal weather changes, you know about the importance of some good socks, especially this year. My area has already had a couple inches of snow, and with COVID-19 still overstaying its welcome, we are all going to be holed up in our houses, so it’s time to get comfy AF. Lest we not forget those essential workers who are still going into the office, the store, the bank etc., and what better way to express yourself while wearing a mask and keeping people AT LEAST six feet away? SOCKS, bro! Socks are on the best ways to show your fandom, your nerdom or just your personality. We have you covered in the All Hallows Bazaar: Sockologie Halloween 2020 stall.
We want to send a big thank you to Sockologie for sending these foot cozies our way to review for you. Even though they were sent to me, I was not paid for this review, so prepare yourself for some honest opinions! Fun fact: it’s hard to make socks look smooth over leggings. LET’S GO!
First up, we have a classic. These are the Haunted House women’s socks by Hot Sox. As you can obviously see, ya girl has some voluptuous legs, so comfortable socks that don’t feel like a tourniquet on my legs are important! These are women’s socks, so the material is a little thinner, but they aren’t thin like socks on the cheaper side. The stretch is really nice and comfortable. The design is super classic Halloween. Grab these for only $7.99!
I LOVE this design, even though it’s a little confusing. These are the Sound the Sirens women’s socks by Socksmith. I love the color (it matches my hair), and I think the little bats and bubbles sprinkled around is such a simple Halloween touch. The stretch on these feel really nice, and they aren’t too thin. That way, shoes will fit well, and your feet won’t get cold. Grab yours from the All Hallows Bazaar: Sockologie Halloween 2020 stall for $8.
While I do not like the taste of mushrooms in any way, I adore the look of them. Mushrooms are fascinating fungi, and The Last of Us only added fuel to that fire of curiosity. Here, I have a pair of socks that can show my love for these alien-like flora. The Bone Heads women’s socks by Socksmith might be my favorite pair I’ve reviewed. They seem to run a little higher on my leg, which I like. The sock itself feels good, and the stretch is a win. Get these, do it! They’re only $8.
I was really surprised by the Halloween II socks. Normally, socks like these run really tight, so I am left to pass them off to my six-year-old who has the only legs in the house that would fit them. But these are juicy leg friendly, and that makes me very happy. Not only that, but I love that each sock is different. You have Michael on one side and “Halloween II” (an underrated sequel, in my opinion) on the other. The stretch is comfortable. They All Hallows Bazaar: Sockologie Halloween 2020 socks are unisex, so the heel doesn’t hang off like a tale. Get this pair from Odd Sox for $15.
These socks were both a win and a slight disappointment. I love this design because the lovey ghosts aren’t just boy ghosts and girl ghosts! It is a love situation, and I really appreciated that detail. They are so sweet and spooky. The only downside is that they are very tight around the top of the foot, so if you have thicker feet, they will be quite the bitch to put on. I have thin, boney feet, and it was still difficult. Either way, get the Love You Boo socks by Socksmith for only $8.
“Quoth the raven…” give me socks. I am a big Poe fan, so these Nevermore men’s socks really tickle my fancy. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find them on the Sockologie website no matter what I searched, which is a shame because these are really comfortable. These are thicker than the rest, so they are extra warm. I will find myself wearing these on the coldest days to toast my tootsies.
These I Heart Halloween socks by Socksmith is the old lady couch print that I wish was all over my furniture. These All Hallows Bazaar: Sockologie Halloween 2020 socks are so delicate and pretty with a spooky twist. The thread in the jack-o-lantern face is shimmery, so it adds a sparkly touch. The stretch feels nice, but there are some threads inside that your feet might catch when putting them on. I love the green toes and heels. These are thinner and very comfortable. You can grab yours for $8.
Next from the All Hallows Bazaar: Sockologie Halloween 2020 stall is a pair of socks from Socksmith that I was SO excited about. This is Twas a Ghosty Christmas, and they will help me transition from a Halloween to a Christmas mood. Even ghosts celebrate the holidays! I love this wee spook covered in holiday lights with a red hat. It is so cute that I can’t even stand it. These are women’s socks, so they are on the thinner side, but they are stretchy and very comfortable. I love them so much.
The last pair of socks from the All Hallows Bazaar: Sockologie Halloween 2020 stall is featuring the gal who put the boob back in the boob tube, and that’s our girl, Elvira. I love these for a few reasons: Elvira; there’s silver thread all through it; they are stretchy AF. Now, these are THIN. I can see through them for the most part, but that makes them very stretchy and great for just statement socks. The silver thread isn’t itchy, which was surprising, and they look super cute. Get your Gumball Poodle Elvira Sparkle socks for only $15.
That’s all for the All Hallows Bazaar: Sockologie Halloween 2020 stall! I has so much fun with with these funny and spooky socks, and I will wear them all season long. If you would like to browse their whole collection, you can do so HERE. They are a lot of fun and there are so many designs to choose from. Keep an eye on PopHorror for more coming your way!
