Merry meet, fellow witches! This year has been the year of the witch, for sure. With the release of the second season of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, being a witch is more in now than ever before. No one knows that better than Wicked Treasures Book Box. We unboxed their December box before, and this time we got the chance to unbox their Witching Hour box. Check it out!
This box not only covers Chilling Adventures of Sabrina AND Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but it also features goodies from the comic book and the Archie universe. Buckle up for a magical unboxing!
This box totally glitter bombed me, and I loved it. It was packed with tons of this gold and black star glitter for a magical touch. The first items out of the Witching Hour Wicked Treasures Book Box was a laminated Sabrina Spellman and Salem picture, two small Sabrina prints, a super heavy Archie coaster and a bar of Russell Stover’s chocolate. That coaster could cause some damage if thrown.
There’s the Sabrina we have come to know and love. Here, we have a few pieces of jewelry. The first is a very ’90s inspired mood ring. I used to be SO into mood rings when I was younger, and I love that they are coming back in style. Next up is a raised resin necklace featuring our favorite familiar, Salem, with a black cord that you can tie. Finally, there is a handmade pin of Harvey Kinkle. I do wish I had gotten a different character, since Harvey kind of grates on my nerves in the show. There are some noticeable imperfections and bubbling in the pin, but that happens sometimes when things are handmade.
The next witchy items out of the Wicked Treasures Book Box is a pocket-sized spell book in case you needed some magick while you travel. While I am personally either pretty picky about my spell books or like to create my own, I love the idea of having one I can carry with me. We also have a pagan wheel of the year that touches upon the sabbats and esbats of the witch’s year, like Samhain, Yule, Ostara, Litha, Mabon and more. There was a large sticker included as well, which I loved, and it will be joining my favorites on my laptop. We have a little card featuring comic book Sabrina and Salem and a plastic pink goblet for the blood of your enemies. My label was, unfortunately, creased, and I don’t think the sticker would even last a single handwash. This one is for decor only.
These next items are definitely my favorites. We have a Sabrina tarot card for Death. The design is so adorable. I just love it. Next is an Aunt Zelda cellphone holder that proclaims, “Praise Satan.” I use this constantly. Not only does it hold my phone, but it also makes my speaker a little bit louder, too. I wish the sticker wasn’t so faded, because it will just disappear over time, but regardless, I love this little phone holder. Next is a Salem Witch Trials pamphlet. It looks like copies of old documents and drawings, which gives it a cool feel.
Also included were two full comic books: Archie and Superteens. I do wish it was just copies of Sabrina in the box, instead of others in the Archie universe, since it is a Sabrina box, after all. If you have someone in your life that loves comic books, then they would really enjoy these.
The last items out of the Wicked Treasures Book Box ware an incense burner (which gets a ton of use in my house), a stick of incense, a small bottle of Goddess Tea and a white candle with red drippings. The wooden incense burner is great… no complaints about that. As long as it holds my incense stick, I’m happy. The tea didn’t have any information with it, so I have no idea what is in it. I do wish there was a little information on the tea, because most people won’t just drink herbal tea without knowing what is it it or what the benefits are. Last is a pretty white candle with the sun on it. The red wax drippings on the candle are SUPER soft, so just touching it leaves a film on your hands, so this is one I have to be careful with.
That’s it for the Wicked Treasures Book Box Witching Hour box! While there were some items that were either slightly damaged or others I would change a bit, I did enjoy the box, and there was a LOT in there. The phone holder and incense burner are my favorite, most used items in the box. This current box is sold out, but there are still Plots Against Christmas boxes left, and I really enjoyed that one, too. You can shop the past box HERE. Keep an eye on PopHorror for more unboxings!
