Press Release:

A bone-chilling nightmare from the directors of Goodnight Mommy, The Lodge begins with a fractured family as Richard (Richard Armitage) tells his children, Aidan (IT’s Jaeden Martell) and Mia (Lia McHugh), of his intent to marry his new girlfriend, Grace (Riley Keough).

In an effort to bond, the family retreat to their remote winter cabin, however, when Richard is forced to abruptly depart for work he leaves the children in Grace’s care. Isolated and alone, a blizzard traps them inside the lodge and terrifying events summons specters from Grace’s dark past.

As nerves fray and tensions rise, Grace, Aidan and Mia have to fight for deliverance against unseen forces of evil.

The film is directed by Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz. Fiala wrote the script along with Sergio Casci. Alicia Silverstone also stars.

The Trailer:

Whoa! I really want to see this one! It looks like there will be some intense moments… honestly, being trapped in a blizzard is a terrifying thought in itself. The Lodge looks to push the fear much further, almost like staying at the Overlook in The Shining. What do you all think? Yay or nay? Let us know in the comments below!
