PopHorror Let's Get Scared
By now you have no doubt heard of the Friday the 13th inspired slasher film 13 Fanboy? You should have! We’ve been covering it for a while now! It’s produced by Friday alumni Deborah Voorhees and veteran producer Joel Paul Reisig. 13 Fanboy tells the story of a fan who takes the original series way too seriously.
13 Fanboy Synopsis
As a child Kelsie Voorhees, witnesses the murder of her grandmother, a Friday the 13th actress, at the hands of a crazy fanboy. As an adult, she discovers her grandmother isn’t the only victim and finds herself battling to save the life of her grandmother’s best friend, also an actress from Friday the 13th, only to find she is now being targeted by the killer. But who is the killer? So many suspects including the man lying beside her.
13 Fanboy had a successful Indiegogo campaign and the crew started filming this week with a very special guest on hand. How do we know? We have an official update from the set!

BREAKING: 13 Fanboy Update From The Set
Hey all you Fanboys and Fangirls. Here’s tonight’s filming update:
We celebrated Corey’s birthday on set. It was our first day of filming. Corey was , of course, AMAZING! He was very funny and easy to be around.
We were on set for over 15 hours today. The passion Deborah shows us inspiring, and the crew she has on camera and lighting are giving us a stunning and yes, beautiful film. As I stood and watched the monitors of the scenes being filmed, I couldn’t help but admire how warm and beautiful the lighting was.
We are truly in for a treat with this movie.
“Corey” is, of course, Corey Feldman from Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter (and briefly Part V: A New Beginning). Corey looks great holding a knife, wouldn’t you say?
